As part of our ongoing commitment to help the people of Haiti, the Haitian Art Gallery is currently directing its support to the work of Sister Judy Dohner.  Sister Judy has been working in Haiti for more than 10 years, having previously spent 11 years working with migrant farm workers in Immokalee, Florida. Her seemingly boundless energy has taken her from being a nurse on a medical emergency team to a children’s hospital administrator and then to working in a small rural community – Fondwa – which is where she was (and from where she miraculously escaped) when the 2010 earthquake struck. She has since returned to the capital and is currently working in a small hospital in Cite Soleil, the poorest slum of Port-au-Prince, where she is helping train local staff to take over the responsibility of caring for the medical needs of the local community.

To support Sister Judy, we are donating 10% of our sales to her program. Your purchase will help provide the much-needed funds for the continuation of her work. Thank you.
